'Rooted' by Michael Millet
Through Louisiana Music Factory, Lauren's first collaborative effort w/ New Orleans artist, Michael Millet, is available for purchase. Recorded in 1994 & 1995, released in 2000, their precise harmonies are akin to Simon & Garfunkle & The Indigo Girls. Michael's folk roots shine in songs like "Sign's that Remind", "Looking for a Home", & "Weathered Tattered & Torn". Stripped down and real, the brief musical partnership of Millet & Murphy was fortunately captured by friend & engineer, Pete Lambousy.
